In researching both my husband's Pennington origins and my own Crawford origins, I have happened upon databases containing what appears to be conflicting info. I have found 2 OTHO PENNINGTON First: b abt 1712, d abt 1761 son of Richard Pennington/Mary Wheeler. Second: b 5/16/1836 Muskingum Cty Oh/ d 1/5/1919 Ohio. Both Othos are listed as having spouse SARAH DEARTH ((1) b abt 1716; (@) b 1837 Ohio, d 1906 Ohio). I find no reference (except one query) to Otho Pennington on this site. As Priscilla Dearth was my 3ggrandmother and the 1st Otho would be my husband's 6th g-granduncle, I am interested in seeing if any of this information is accurate. Thank you for your assistance.

My father was awarded the EAME Distinguished Service Ribbon and four (4) Bronze Stars for his service as a tail gunner and bombardier in the 306th Bomber Group. He flew with the "Rose of York" which was a joint operation of the RAF and the Army Air Corp. Any information about the crew or his sevice would be appreciated.
