Beda Pennington is the daugther of Martin and Martha Pennington (nee Tackett). She married John W. Jordan in 1885 in Ala. They had several children. Does anyone have any information on this family? I have several different stories and am trying to get it right. I have several of my lines (Jordan, Pennington,McManus/McManis) intermarrying and I am confused.

In the Bio. of Dr. Benjamin Burch it states that his parents were William S. Burch and Isabella F. Pennington. They were located in St. Charles Co. Mo. and married in 1818. I have been looking for their son William S. Burch born 1839. I have found him living with John C. Burch age 24 William age 11 in Crawford Twp. Osage Co. Mo. Also with Lucy Pennington age 60 from N.C. Who is Lucy to Isabella and does anyone know when and where Isabella died and is buried? Thanks Patri Hilborn

Seeking information about the occupations of Penningtons in the areas of Wigan (Lancashire) and Tadcaster (Yorkshire, nr., York) in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. I have a pewter flagon with the (previously unrecorded) touchmark of Pennington, and of a style associated with the York area in the 18th century. There are published records of pewterers called Pennington (and variations) in Wigan and Tadcaster in the later 17th century, but nothing later. I have noted the information about family group 34 on this site (Penningtons in Tadcaster), but occupational information is absent. Any help appreciated.
