Looking for information on Samuel Pennington born in 1812 in Tennessee (1850 census of Hardin Co Tennessee) or 1795 in Alabana (1860 census of Scott Co Arkansas). His wife was Emily P born 1814 in North Carolina (by 1850 census) or Emaly born 1817 (by 1860 census). They had 8 children; Willim A - age 12; Charles S - age 8; Sarah C - age 7; Mary J - age 5; James T - age 3 and Samuel N - age 1/12. The 1860 census showes Samuel N as Samuel M and two more children N A (female) - age 8 and R E (female) - age 1. I know these two census records apply to the same person as the children's names and ages match even though their parents given ages differ. In the 1850 census of Hardin Co Tennessee there is listed a Sarah, age 65 (1775) born in Virginia. Also in the 1850 census of Hardin Co Tennessee she is listed in the household of H Pennington age 42 (1808) born in Virginia. H Pennington was married to Deborah, age 37 and had 4 children; Lucinda E - age 17; E L (male) - age 14; Martha! c - age 11; and Wm T - age 3. Since she is shown in both households I feel that possibly Samuel and H were brothers.

My husband is down from William Andrew who married Elizabeth Thorn.

James Thomas married Adeline Blagg; Samuel Newton married Eveline Winn and Rebecca F married Charlie Smith. This is all the information that I have on any of the other children.

Looking for any information on James David Pennington, b. 10 Apr 1896 in Tuscaloosa Co, Alabama?. Married Roxie Bell Sanford, b. 1899 and d.1988, m.17 Dec 1914 in Tuscaloosa. They had 12 children, Roy Eugene, Clyde, Murray Frank, Jesse, Hollis, Arthur, Gertie, Loyal,Florence, Shelby Jean, and 2 others. Roy is my grandfather. I have been searching for a Caroline Pennington who married Isaac Clayborne Blevins in VA. Isaac was born 1849. Isaac and Caroline are my great great grandparents.

Isaac Blevins was the son of Charity Wyatt and Andrew Z. Blevins. Any help with Caroline Pennington would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for ancestors of James A. Pennington,b:ILL. He is the father of my grandmother, Jimanna Pennington, who was born in Coryell Co., TX. James was married to Francis June Robinson, daughter of James McGehee and Jane Patterson. They had five daughters besides my grandmother - Martha Jane, Margaret A., Mary F., Rachel Florence, and Geanellen or Georgellen. His father and mother were Corbin Pennington and Elizabeth McGehee. Back to Asa, father of Corbin; Timothy, father of Asa; and Ephraim (1720), father of Timothy.

Hyland B. Penington - I have come across a street index for the year 1864 for Baltimore, MD that includes the following:

Penington, Hyland B. Attorney 51 W. Fayette, dw. Lexington nr Charles. I am particularly interested in this because my Baltimore Penington family resided in the same area and some on this same street.
