His unknown daughter married Adelbert Cronkhite, also a West Point graduate, a Major General in WWI. Fort Chronkite of Marin Co., CA was named in his honor. Cronkhite was from upstate NY.

Looking for any info on Richard Pennington, a blacksmith of St Helen's, Lancs.

He had three known children, Peter Pennington, b abt 1841, Richard Pennington, b abt 1855 and m Maria Gillies/Gilliers, and Adam Pennington, b abt 1857.

Richard and Maria went on to have five children, all born in St Helens 1879 - 1890, Adam, Eve, Elizabeth, Catherine and Margaret Eleanor Pennington.

I would love to be able to take this line back further...esp to find any information on Richard.

Looking for information about the parents of Mary Ann PENNINGTON born 26 June 1875 in TN. She married George Washington MARKS. Their first child James Andrew MARKS was born in 1893 in Hopkins Co TX. George Washington Marks was born in 1868. He may have been born in Arkansas. It is said by family that Mary Ann served the community as a midwife. This family lived at one time in Wood Co Texas.

Mary Ann PENNINGTON MARKS died 14 Jan 1943 in Hopkins Co TX.
