PRA 2008 Reunion and Meeting

The PRA 2008 Reunion/Membership Meeting was held August 7th through August 9th 2008 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A primary activity for the Meeting was a group research effort at the North Carolina State Archives and the Genealogy Library. At least 11 of the PRA Family Groups have North Carolina connections. It is of note that another 6 of the PRA Family Groups had connections in the neighboring states of South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

The North Carolina State Archives and the Genealogy Library contains records and references for these neighboring states as well as many of the New England states where some of our early family migrations first began.
